Connected apps
Connected apps lists the other software your organisation has connected to Base through the partner API: an accounting add-on, a scheduling tool, a supplier's ordering system. For each one it shows who makes it, when it was connected, when it last did something, and exactly what it is allowed to do, as a list of plain sentences. Disconnecting stops an app immediately.
This is different from MCP connections, which are your own Claude or ChatGPT.
- Nothing to set up here. An app appears after one of your software providers offers a Base connection and an admin approves it.
- Only an admin can disconnect an app. Everyone else can see the list.
- Read the card. Under the name and maker is when it was connected and last used; the list beneath says "Can …" for each permission it was granted.
- Press Disconnect on the card and confirm.
The app stops working with your Base account immediately.
- Last used updates every time the app does something, so a connection nobody uses is visible.
- Nothing connects by itself. A provider's app reaches this list only after an admin approves the connection.
- Disconnecting is immediate and the app is not warned. Anything it was in the middle of fails.
- The permissions on the card are the whole grant. An app cannot do anything not listed there.
- If the page says no apps are connected, that is the fact; there is no hidden list.
